Most camper van electrical systems use 12v batteries to run various appliances off-grid.

240v Electrics

240v electrical kits basically allow you to have household sockets in your van for use when you are hooked up to an electric point on a campsite or when you have an inverter installed.

Is this for you?

Essential for campers that want to use 240v but are not going to be staying on campsites often. Paired with the hookup it charges the battery but allows you to use the higher voltage even when not plugged in.

Size?

Size does matter, if you are thinking of an inverter for your van you need to assess what it is you want to power and find their wattage. Add all the wattages up to get your total demand and leave anout 20% - 25% excess for start up surge and future need. Off-grid wattage is stated above.

Solar panels are a great way to keep your leisure battery topped up when you are out exploring! Prices below give you a rough idea, however, the list does not cover everything we can do, so get in touch if you have a request.
