“When I got my Caddy Maxi, I knew that I wanted to put my own stamp on it, but I knew that I was also going to require some help with parts.

There was no hesitation when it came to who I would like to do the work - Paul & Emily. They made the whole process as easy, simple and quick as possible, from the design process to the completion.

Paul & Emily really took the time to listen to my ideas and design style, whilst giving me their own thoughts and ideas from their vast experience of fitting out campers. I went for a ply kitchen unit, with a oak wood worktop and an electric sink.

Paul & Emily really helped with those finishing touches that I wouldn’t have thought of too. They extended my overhead storage above the front seats and added an oak trim to it which matches the kitchen worktop, as well as a hinged oak table on one of the back doors and neatened up all of my electrics. They also added a draw into my kitchen unit and designed some exposed storage with elastic bungees. Their attention to detail is second to none - you can really tell how much time, detail and perfectionism has gone into it.

They always kept me up to date with how it was going and sent through pictures, as well as checking in numerous times over the passing weeks to check that everything was working well. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Not only that, they are two of the most wholesome, friendly, helpful Cumbrians around. Thank you FETTLE"

"I cannot recommend Fettle enough. They went completely out of their way to convert my van, and the attention to detail is beyond words.

Paul worked incredibly long hours to finish our project on time, pulling all the stops out to ensure it was ready for our holidays. The finished product far exceeded our expectations, and he wouldn’t rest until it was literally perfect. No corners were cut, and the quality speaks for itself.

Fettle worked with us right from the beginning, helping us design what wanted, and refining, suggesting ideas based on their extensive experience to improve it.

"Earlier this year we made a decision to get a camper van. Make memories with the girls and join the #vanlife crowd.
Well! Long story short, we rushed the decision and got a van that wasn’t what you’d expect.
Fast forward 7months and in steps @_fettle_ , two legendary humans who have sorted out our vans electrics. The reference I believe was “a rats nest”. It’s not now.
Brilliant work from them. But seriously, the customer service was unbelievable. When there’s a bad taste in your mouth about something you’ve purchased, you need this kind of customer service Paul and Emily offered.
Safe to say I’ll be back.

"Super stoked with the neat job @_fettle_ made rigging my hob up to the gas.

I'm pretty reluctant to ever get help with doing anything but occasionally I have to acknowledge my limitations and anxiously hand my van over to the professionals.

It's a rare thing to find a company that is upfront about their pricing, gives a quote for a job and sticks to it, gets on the job when you arrive, and spends time making sure you are entirely happy with the job before you leave and invite to return if there are any issues.

Paul & Emily have done a great job converting our VW Crafter, very professional throughout, and very open-minded to my ideas which I know were new and a bit different, but were executed to perfection. I can be a pain in the backside, indecisive, and maybe a little demanding, but they both had great patience with my to-ing and fro-ing!

They have also been superb with aftercare and service - I’ve had questions when out using the van, and they have quickly got back to me which has been a great relief. Quite often you can get a satisfactory job, but then once your money is gone the service is non-existent, thankfully this isn’t the case with Fettle, and always help me with any daft questions I might have!
Would certainly recommend and will use it on any future projects

What a team :)
A fantastic couple that went out of their way to ensure that we had our camper conversion built on time and to a high build standard...an excellent job.

From our initial thoughts of converting our minibus into a camper, Paul & Emily were there to offer ideas, valuable information on the build process, and within realistic timescales...not forgetting they make a cracking cup of coffee :)

We had a plan, that with the help of 'Fettle' became a reality, as we took our camper across Europe, from the UK, Hull via a ferry to the Rotterdam, Germany, Swiss Alps, Dolomites, and onward to southern Italy....and back home via France to the UK, over a 4 week period....and the camper worked a treat.

A 'big thankyou' to Paul & Emily, I would highly recommend 'Fettle' to anyone, from small jobs, to a full camper conversion...top team 👍
